If you want the chin smaller, you can type in a negative value and that works, but it hardly seems very clever.

The Carrara dial works from 0 (not big) to 1 (big). For instance, where a face morph is "Chin Big", the Poser dial would work in both directions. It's a while since I have used D/S, but this bit of Carrara 6 does seem as though D/S has been bolted on to Carrara - and slightly absent-mindedly. Carrara still won't handle anything from the Materials room, though. That way, there is no problem with importing from Poser 7, because you are importing building-blocks, not scenes. With Carrara 6, the idea seems to be that you don't use Transposer, but link to your Poser run-times (in the style of DAZ Studio) and do the whole process in Carrara. If you have a really powerful system, Vue has to be preferable, if the object of the exercise is to render what you have envisaged in Poser, because Vue can do that and Carrara can't. In both these cases, the import process drinks up a huge amount of memory, so the biggest block to rendering a Poser scene in either Carrara or Vue is the likelihood that the import process will crash and burn. Vue can import Poser scenes from any release of Poser and Vue 6 can duplicate whatever you have created in the Materials room. Even where a Poser release is supported, Transposer can't handle anything much done in the Poser Materials room.

It's included in C5Pro and has been made available (I think) as a free add-on for C6Pro, but, as far as I know, it won't work for imports from Poser 7 to Carrara of any release. Transposer is a (not cheap) add-on to the standard Carrara 4/5. If you are using Poser 6 or below, you can use Transposer to import Poser files to Carrara.
